Adult & Youth Programs

Run by professionals for future professionals

TOP-TIER ADULT PROGRAMS

Our club is lucky that our coaching staff network, combined with the high quality of our players, has helped us create additional opportunities for elite level matches.

The Tigers’ adult teams have been prominent in the soccer scene in Vancouver for 10 years. Our men’s team has been the gold standard of the Vancouver Metro Soccer League, Fraser Valley and Pacific Coast Soccer League for the last five years. We either won all the adult leagues in the lower mainland or reached the provincial finals, winning the Imperial Cup, Pakenham cup and Challenge Cup along the way (the most prestigious cups in the amateur soccer scene).

We also started our adult women’s programs in 2019 and we are on the same pathway to make it another success story.

Top university and ex-professional players, mixed with talented youth players transitioning to adult soccer, continues to be our unique foundation for success throughout the club infrastructure.

Special youth programs

We offer a unique “Youth-to-Adult” transition program that provides youth players the opportunity to play with senior teams, a model consistent with the Canada Soccer Association’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) model to promote adult health.

While our top teams are very competitive, with a professional grade training environment and top-class coaching to provide clear pathways to university scholarships and professional tryouts, our lower divisions teams continue to host all the players who wish to be in a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment regardless of their level. We are proud to say we are a program that fits every serious and committed player.

We have multiple pathways ranging from gradual integration to adult soccer for young players showing the potential and the ability to do so, while still being in their youth programs to full transition to adult soccer at younger ages.

We have many high-performance league players getting minutes with our adult teams, while simultaneously participating in youth soccer.

We are never shy to integrate young players (15-18) in our top tier adult programs once they reach the level and able to safely play with adults.

Many current players in the Canadian Premier League have played with the Tigers at some stage, some for more than one season. Additionally, Our club was a major feeding source for the BC and Alberta USL2 clubs with almost every player in our serious 7-month winter program getting invited to
play USL2 in the summer.

FC Tigers own dedicated phone App.

The Tigers whole system of player registration, kit management (in partnership with Joma Canada), notifications, practice attendance and communication is consistent with any professional club.

Strong Media Support

In addition to our developmental pathways, we have also provided players with the tools to achieve their goals of connecting with university and professional teams. A quick tour of our YouTube channel provides thorough access to all our games, including live broadcasts by professional companies (Canada soccer TV, Sports revolution, BC Sports Media). This is one again demonstrative of our desire to move players onto the next level of the game, always with a “player-first” mentality.
